| Joseph Peahoff has done an
incredible job and passed his SG4 blue belt test. Unfortunately for the
kids they have to take the adult test and meet the same requirements.
Joseph has done an excellent job coming in and really applying himself
mental, physically and emotionally. Earning the SG4 rank is no easy task
as it includes all the information from the previous tests as well as
the new information. Joseph received high praises from Austin McAdams.
Austin tested Joseph for his previous rank before and was amazed how far
Joseph has come in his experience and knowledge of the Dragon Sen-I
system! |

| Martin Hunt earned his SG6 yellow
belt in Dragon Sen-I. He's been in the dojo a short while and is
progressing well! Mr. Scott nicknamed him "Big Bird" which unfortunately
for Martin is starting to stick! Martin is good student that gives what
he can in the ring. Every class he is improving; learning about himself
and the art he is in. |

 |
| Jason Alverson has become a
fixture in the dojo. He is there about every time the doors are open,
but more than that, he is like a sponge. Absorbing the information at an
accelerated pace and proving it in the ring. Its amazing to see how far
the school has come in the last year. Fortunately we have stumbled upon
students like Jason that make teaching easy. Here he has earned the rank
of SG4 blue belt and it is well deserved. |

| Barry Phillips is one of the
students everyone wants. When asked how he knows the info so well, he
admitted to keeping a cheat sheet in his vehicle so he could study at
red lights or in traffic jams. Barry is a big strong guy. Mr. Wood made
the comment during his test, "were going to get this right the first
time, because that's a long way to the ground from that height".
Congratulations on your SG5 green belt! |

| Ryan Beltz earned the rank of SG4
blue belt as well. He has come a long way in his training. The black
belts have been watching his transformation in the dojo. He doesn't just
earn his keep, but forces his opponent to make sure they earn theirs. He
is also one of the most academically gifted people in the school. We are
unfortunately losing him to out of state college in August. We certainly
have enjoyed presence in the dojo and we know he'll make his mark in the
world. |

| Maureen Mallory has earned her SG4
in Dragon Sen-I and her 4th kyu blue in Isshin-ryu. She is a class act,
definitely a rose among the thorns! She is also a huge promoter and
supporter of the school. When she first came into the dojo we never
thought she would last. She signed up along with two out of her three
kids, and has taken everything to the next level. Her children decided
it wasn't for them, but Maureen never slowed down. In fact she picked up
momentum and the fruits of her labor is seen here. Congratulations! |

| Preston Pressley has earned his SG-6 rank yellow belt
in Dragon Sen-I Jutsu. Preston is one of those kids that are a welcomed
surprise. The first time he started punching the bag it was obvious it
wasn't his first time. In the his division he is tough. We are lucky to
have Preston and the rest of our kids, as they are turning out to be
model students. |

Desmond Brunson came to us as a
black belt from another style and has had to virtually started over. But
he swallowed his pride and he shines in the dojo. He is a fantastic
student to work with and a terror in the ring. He is a natural at
everything he does and because of that is in multiple sports. His
schedule keeps him out more than we all would like, but having talent
and academic intellect he is able to move forward with ease. Here he
earned his SG6 yellow belt.
Great job Desmond!! |
